Sophie - 1/30/2017

Sophie ate some bran cereal and dried cranberries for breakfast.  Sophie opened her mouth wide to show Avilene her dried cranberry; "See my gum Avi!"  Ha!  For lunch she ate bites of cheese & canadian bacon pizza, ate corn, and two servings of tropical fruit.  At lunch time Sophie was telling me a lengthy story about Christmas time.  It kind of went like this; "Christmas at Grandma's...got a bath ..got my jammies....got my binky.. Nora not have a binky...I told Nora I want sleep coming!" :)

This first picture is from several days ago, but I don't think I posted it and it's too cute not to post!   Adorable!  Sophie was grinning hugely while watching Kenzie bounce on Lauralea's knee.  I told Sophie this morning, "You're too cute."  She said, "I'm too cute!?!"  Haha!  "No, you're just right!!"  :)  We had another amusing conversation after breakfast and she was quizzing me about names;  "Is Christina your Mom's name?"  No.  "What your Mom's name?"  June.  Christina is my daughter.  "Ohhhh...what your Daughter name?"  Christina.  And I have a Son named David.  "Ohhh."  She looked at the fish and asked, "What your fish name?"  Haha!  (There are 3 of those plastic fish.)  Uhhh...the first thing that popped in my head was "Shadrach, Meshach, and Abedego."  Haha!  Sophie said, "Ohhhh....What your penguin name?"  Penguin, I don't have a Penguin!  She was only slightly annoyed; "NOOO...the PINK one!!??"  LOL!!!  Oh sorry.  I thought you said Penguin!  Being partially deaf only makes life that much more amusing to me!!  :)  And of course the color blind thing added to the humor!!  I have no idea which one is pink Sophie!  "Ohhh."

Sophie had her bag packed and she and her Baby (Avi) were going someplace.  At least Sophie thought they needed to be going someplace!  She told me, "My Baby not listen to me!"  HaHa! I see that!  Your Baby seems to want to do her own thing!  You can see Sophie's packed bag in the next picture.  In the last picture Sophie has a book tucked under her arm, packing two or three more books, and still carrying her baby's bottle in her left hand.  She is getting ready to read to her babies.  Speaking of reading - we had the ABC book I got in Alaska (each letter is associated to a place or event in Alaska) and the "I" goes like this; "I" is for an ice worm ice-skating under the Iditarod Trail.  Sophie immediately started singing one of My songs she hears frequently, "I did, I did, I did the Iditarod Trail."  Nicely done Sophie!!
