Sophie ate three servings of cinnamon toast and most of her apple bites for breakfast. For lunch she ate most of baked chicken and dinner roll, she ate two servings of hash browns, and ate cherries. At the lunch table she said (to me), "I'm beauty and you're (point at me) the beast." LOL I roared! That's what I deserve after "teaching" her that yesterday! :) Her memory is too sharp!!
She was looking in the garbage while washing for breakfast and asked, "What is that?" "That is lint from the dryer." She said, "Oh, lint - not hair?" LOL!! "Nope, that is not hair! That would be quite the wad of hair!"
Speaking of memory - she said something about the color "purple" and I did the sign for purple. She said, "then you throw it!?" Yup, you throw it. That's how I always describe the difference between the sign for pink and purple. "Do the sign for pink and throw it for purple." And she remembers.
In this first picture Hudson was going down the slide over and over and Avi and Sophie were keeping a close eye on him! This has been one of his favorite activities for this week. (This slide flips over and there are steps on the other side.) Sophie always tries to flip the slide or steps over - she knows the process, but isn't quite strong enough to make it happen!
I took this picture at Art Time this morning. Golf Ball Art is a bit slow, but Sophie was patiently waiting for her turn. (I had chicken baking in the other pan that I use for art!! So it was one pan at a time during Art this morning!) Hudson and Avilene were watching and it won't be long until they will know what to do. Hudson didn't want to touch the pan today and this is a good way to get him familiar with what we're doing. The little ones watched for at least 10 minutes before they got bored.
