Sophie had a couple bites of blueberry bagel and two servings of peaches for breakfast. For lunch she ate bites of ham, ate whole wheat elbow noodles topped with cheese, ate corn, and a bite of apple.
Sophie sat for all of Story Time today. I've started sitting her on the couch beside me rather than on my lap and it's been working great. If she doesn't want to sit and read she can just climb down. At the end of a story I always say, "The End." I finished a book and she said, "The End." :) Another book was animal sounds so it kind of went like this: What's a cat say? Sophie said, "Mrr-ow, mrr-ow." What's a pig say? "Mrr-ow, mrr-ow." What's a sheep say? "Mrr-ow, mrr-ow." Ok, you get the idea. :)
I asked Sophie if I could have a love and Reid grabbed me from behind and was hugging me. He said, "I give you love when Hofie give you love!" He's a very sweet boy.
Sophie was walking around lifting up her shirt "wiping" her belly with a baby blanket. She finally looked at me and saw that I was watching her. She started grinning all over and chuckling and really started showing off then!
I decided to give it a try with Sophie on the nap mat today. (Primarily because Hudson is needing her room full-time.) And here's the proof that it worked! Nice job Sophie! She was a very big girl and handled it like a trooper! She has inherited Nora's old napping spot! (Hey Molly, I see a few popcorn crumbs around her on the floor in case she gets hungry during nap!)
I took this picture when Sophie was practicing bouncing on the mattress. It's also great practice for her balance. Especially when Reid is bouncing all over the place and she's fighting to stand up! (Cooper is out today so it was Reid, Sophie, and Hudson at Daycare. ) I took a 10 second movie of her bouncing, but it didn't download so I'll have to figure that out!)
