Sophie ate most of raisin english muffin and two servings of blueberries at breakfast. For lunch she ate turkey slice, whole wheat sandwich thin, several bites of green beans, and two servings of strawberries.
I was going out to start Lauralea's car and Sophie was yelling my name as I was going. She was doing a "D" sound for the "G." Kind of like this; "Deh-wee, Deh-wee." One other thing she's been doing ALL morning is making a "clicking" sound with her tongue. She was doing it all day yesterday as well.
I took this picture yesterday afternoon when Kenzie was teaching Sophie some puzzle skills. It was actually very adorable and Kenzie would let Sophie struggle for a few seconds before moving the piece a little bit. I told Kenzie what an awesome job she was doing and doing it very naturally! This was the first time Sophie has done puzzles at Little Treasures and she was nailing them!! And she was focused and stayed on track for at least 10 puzzles. Then she was carrying them all over to put them away as well. Already a pro!!
I was changing Hudson's diaper and getting him ready for nap and I asked Sophie if she'd pick up Hudson's toys and put them in the basket. I did one so she'd see what I wanted and she did the rest. So that was worthy of a picture too!! After lunch Hudson was playing with the basket of toys again and she decided they needed to be picked up right then. Ha!
Ok, so I have to post another picture of Lauralea loving on Sophie this morning. Lauralea had been singing to her. Hey! Speaking of singing - at lunch time today Reid started saying, "walk walk, gallopy gallopy, walk walk....." That's the game Lauralea frequently plays with Sophie in the mornings. (Except Lauralea adds "trot trot" in the middle.) Well Sophie just grinned from ear-to-ear and she started doing it to in a "singsongy" voice. That was so stinking cute!!!! She was saying, "Walk walk, walk walk, walk walk..."
