Sophie - 5/1/2017

Sophie ate chex cereal and two servings of peaches for breakfast.  For lunch she ate hamburger, hamburger bun, tomatoes, no lettuce, ate avocados, and oranges.  At breakfast Sophie asked Hudson, "Grandpa Johnny pick you up?"  :)  Then she went potty after breakfast and Hudson was cheering for her potty successes!!

The last book we read at Story Time was the "Barnyard Dance."  Sophie got off the couch and started doing the actions and one of the lines says, "All take a bow and the dance is over."  So she did her bow - and it was so cute!!

We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and in the 1st picture Sophie was using one of the pillows for her backpack.  In the 2nd picture I was impressed because she got the green steps off, turned them over, and they played on the slide.  (Turning them over isn't easy because you also have to swap it end-for-end.)  When I took the 2nd picture she and Avilene were telling Missy what Sophie had accomplished!

Sophie was doing some of her dramatic play and it involved Hudson of course!!  She put on some dress-up clothes and said, "Hey Gary!  I'm going to a meeting with my cousin and Avi."  Then she directed her talking to Hudson and it went something like this: "Do you want to go with me Bubba? "Are you ready to go with me!?"  So I asked,  "Where are you going?"  Sophie said, "We're going to Daddy's Tax Season!!"  Haha!  That hit my funny bone!"
