Sophie ate half of kix cereal and ate mixed fruit for breakfast. For lunch she ate ham sandwich, peas, and two servings of mandarin oranges.
First, I want to just remind everyone that Little Treasures is closed Wednesday - Friday for Thanksgiving this week. Also, Lauralea will be covering for me on Monday the 28th. There will be no Blogs on Monday and I'll resume the Blogs on Tuesday. I'm so looking forward to seeing my daughter in Louisiana this week!! :)
Sophie and Hudson were at the window waving bye to Daddy Pat. Sophie looked at Bubba waving and said, "I use 2 hands!" And she started waving with 2 hands. Then she decided he needed to use 2 hands and grabbed his other hand and started waving it as well. Hmm...that was the beginning of a morning where those two were trying to "frequently interfere" with the other one!! :)
Sophie was spreading a blanket out on the floor to wrap up her baby. She snapped the blanket in the air and laid it down....not quite laying right....repeat...not right....repeat....You get the idea. Hudson was standing there watching all this. She yelled "NO" at him a couple of times...I guess to warn him not to get any ideas because he was doing nothing but watching! :) She got her blanket laid out just right, but she'd left the doll several feet behind her. She wasn't about to turn her back on Bubba (who was still doing nothing but watching) and she crawled on her hands and knees backwards to retrieve her baby; never taking her eyes off Hudson. LOL I had to laugh at that one!!
This is a picture of one of Sophie's favorite daily activities. Going to get Baby Nora when she wakes from her nap. It's pretty cute because Nora always has the hugest smile for everyone after nap.
Here's the story behind the 2nd picture: Sophie and Hudson had been playing in the "igloo" and they had blankets and dolls in there. Sophie said they were all taking a "nap." Hudson had left the igloo, but Sophie was dragging another blanket in. And Avi viewed that as the perfect opportunity to "step" on the blanket. So she did. When I took this picture Sophie kept saying, "Avi!! Avi!! Avi!!" Avi; "chuckle chuckle chuckle." Sophie; "Aaavvveeeeee!!" Avi; "chuckle chuckle chuckle."
